Despite Polytoria releasing to the public in early December 2020, the earliest case of the site's existence traces back to March 27, 2019, when it was known as Bloxtopia. This would also be the day that the site would become it's own sandbox platform rather than a Roblox revival.

Pre-2019
March 27, 2018
- The domain, "Bloxtopia.xyz" gets registered.
2019
March
- March 27: willemsteller announces that Bloxtopia is transitioning from being a Roblox revival to an actual sandbox platform.
- At the same time, everyone in the Discord server is demoted.
- Hours later, the site's development had begun.
- March 31: The Bloxtopia YouTube channel (now known as Polytoria) uploads a now-private but archived video, showcasing an unreleased trailer for Bloxtopia, back when it was a Roblox revival.
- Aleksei gets promoted back to developer, for Bloxtopia.
April
- April 2: willemsteller updates the Bloxtopia Discord server, about Bloxtopia being transferred over from a test website to it's main website. Although, the website is still under maintenance.
- April 6: Applications for Java and LWJGL client developers are opened. Unfortunately, no one was hired.
- April 14: Bloxtopia opens up to the public for only an hour, all accounts that had signed up in that hour were considered "beta testers".
- April 15: bandito burrito gets hired as Bloxtopia's community manager.
- April 16: Shirts, T-Shirts and Pants now require an approval from the staff team, before it could be viewed.
- April 17: Egg Hunt 2019 begins, all eggs that were uploaded into the Shop, can no longer be purchased.
- An incident would occur on Bloxtopia, involving a vulnerability related to uploading faces, this would result in offensive imagery being uploaded to the Shop.
- Bloxtopia would go offline for sometime, some users even reported that their accounts were falsely suspended.
- April 18: The vulnerability is now patched, resulting in all of the avatars being reset, as well as the deletion of many faces and clothing.
- willemsteller also announced that Bloxtopia will be receiving a redesign.
- April 22: Bloxtopia opens up a Minecraft anarchy server.
- April 23: Bloxtopia goes under maintenance, later going back up with a new redesign.
- A now-private video also gets uploaded to the Bloxtopia YouTube channel, showcasing the new registration page.
- April 24: Comments on items, messaging and friend requests are added.
- April 27: Egg Hunt 2019 ends.
- Bloxtopia opens up a Minecraft Alpha server, this would also include the opening of a Minecraft Classic related Discord server, by willemsteller.
May
- May 7: 250 Bricks are given out to 2 users, who had collected all of the eggs in Egg Hunt 2019, one of those users being bandito burrito.
- May 10: Users who've purchased a membership on Bloxtopia, now receive a free rank on the Bloxtopia Discord server.
- The Forum also gets added.
- May 12: Bloxtopia reaches up to 1,000 registered accounts, with the 1,000th user being różdżka językowa.
- May 14: A 50% sale occurs on all membership purchases, for a limited amount of time, as a celebration for reaching the milestone mentioned above.

- August 1: Items can now be sold by users for Bricks rather than just Studs.
- August 3: Bloxtopia gets reverted to a backup due to the discovery of a glitch that causes a user to have infinite Studs and Bricks.
- August 12: The Bloxtopia client in it's public testing phase ends.
- August 26: Bloxtopia opens it's applications for moderators, asset creators and website developers.
- August 29: The applications are now closed.
- August 31: Users can now sell limiteds (now known as collectibles) in the shop for Bricks.
September
- September 2: Hats can now have a texture which allows for more detail.
- September 4: Guilds have been renamed to Organisations.
- September 9: The Bloxtopia Constructor (an early version of the Polytoria Creator) has been released though it can only be accessed by testers.
- September 11: The avatar no longer shows up in the thumbnail of a hat item leaving only the hat itself.
- September 16: The old version of Bloxtopia is announced to be returning under the name, Bloxtopia Classic.
- September 23: Bloxtopia rebrands to Superium, Bloxtopia Classic is also renamed back to Bloxtopia.
October
- October 20: Superium reaches up to 3,000 registered users, that 3,000th user being "Sssss".
November
- November 21: willemsteller announces that the Superium client will be rewritten in Java. The site is also announced to be having another redesign.
